AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to modernize, migrate, and maintain data-platform infrastructure across cloud and enterprise environments in Poland. You will join a people-first team and work on production-grade migrations, secure data access, and operational improvements.

The role requires 3+ years of senior-level production data-platform engineering with strong Python, Bash, and SQL, plus AWS, Snowflake, and Kafka/Confluent expertise. Upper-intermediate English is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of senior-level, hands-on experience in production data-platform engineering.
• Strong Python, Bash, and SQL skills.
• Production experience with Snowflake and Confluent/Kafka, with a DevOps focus.
• Deep Snowflake and AWS experience with Kafka knowledge, or vice versa.
• Experience operating or migrating production systems across dev, stage and production.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, testing, documentation, and cross-team communication.
• Experience with least-privilege access, change control, secrets handling, and secure operations.

Responsibilities

• Help migrate infrastructure and data-platform workloads to new infrastructure.
• Move data-platform workloads to AWS us-east-2 withConnectivity and deployment prerequisites.
• Enable secure, governed data access for consumers and downstream systems.
• Modernize data-platform architecture, tooling, and operational practices.
• Support Snowflake, Confluent/Kafka, AWS migrations and operations across stages.
• Participate in production troubleshooting, runbooks, and cross-team coordination.
• Use Terraform/IaC and GitLab to deliver auditable changes.
