Job summary

State Street’s Alpha Data team seeks an experienced Data Operations Specialist to help build and sustain clients' data capabilities using Alpha services. The successful candidate will collaborate with implementation, service management and IT teams across the globe, applying data management skills to deliver timely, accurate data and drive process optimization.

The role emphasizes data quality, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support live operations and ongoing product

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of industry experience in Financial Services or Data fields.
• Strong knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Excellent communication and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data operations; ensure data delivered to clients on time, accurately and within scope.
• Become process/platform SME; conduct root cause analysis and address questions and requests.
• Independently perform work within guidelines and procedures.
• Support testing activities prior to go-live and post-production transition; oversee live processes.
• Provide input on Alpha Data product enhancements and requirements.
• Collaborate with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management and IT teams to share best practices.
