Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data operations.
• Basic to intermediate experience with data (SQL, Excel, reconciliations).
• Understanding of data quality concepts and controls.
• Interest in Finance, Risk, or regulatory reporting processes.
• Experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a data-focused role.
• Ability to follow structured processes within control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify and support investigation of data quality issues.
• Assist in investigating breaks, exceptions, and reconciliation differences.
• Support reconciliations, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities.
• Execute and monitor data quality checks and controls.
• Support tracking and remediation of data quality issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in performing and validating manual adjustments, ensuring accuracy and control.
• Contribute to delivering accurate, complete, and timely data for regulatory reporting.
• Maintain and update documentation (SOPs, data definitions, control descriptions).
• Support process improvement and standardisation initiatives.
• Assist in implementing automation solutions (Alteryx, Power BI, workflow tools).
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation using AI-assisted tools.
• Develop understanding of how AI can be applied in data quality and reconciliation processes.
• Validate outputs with guidance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and escalate issues as needed.
