Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build data platforms enabling data-driven decisions across clients and partners. You will implement robust solutions using Databricks and modern warehousing with Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift or Snowflake, collaborating with global teams.

You will work on cross-functional initiatives, apply agile practices, and contribute to data modeling, pipelines and distributed processing. Proficiency in SQL, Python and English is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on Databricks experience.
• 3 years of experience in Big Data.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving skills for big data.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Experience in at least one cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh.
• Very good English (verbal and written).
• Experience with Agile, DevOps and CI/CD.
