Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build data platforms enabling efficient decision-making for clients and partners. You will work with cutting-edge data engines such as Databricks and modern warehousing solutions across a global project footprint.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data engineering, hands-on Databricks, strong SQL/Python, and experience with data modeling, warehousing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering area.
• Hands-on experience in Databricks.
• 3 years of experience in Big Data.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving skills in a big data environment.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Experience in at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong experience in data marts, data warehouses, data lakes, data mesh.
• Very good English (verbal and written).
• Experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps and CI/CD principles.

Responsibilities

• Build data platforms enabling efficient decision-making for clients and partners.
• Design robust solutions using state-of-the-art data engines (Databricks) and modern data warehousing (Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
