Job summary

Metso is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager, Data to shape enterprise-wide data management capabilities across the organization in Kraków. You will lead data governance, quality, and strategy efforts, aligning business and IT to unlock value from data for analytics, AI, and digital modernization.

The role reports to the Director, Data Enablement and sits within Metso’s Data & Analytics group. Final title depends on candidate experience and scope of responsibility, with hybrid work options

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, or data strategy.
• Leading data development or governance initiatives in a global matrix.
• Ability to create roadmaps and drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Translate between business, data and IT perspectives.
• Excellent communication and analytical, collaborative approach.
• Experience with ERP/CRM/PLM/MES or modern data tools is a plus.
• Industrial environment experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own an assigned enterprise data management capability (governance, quality, metadata, or strategy).
• Define concepts, operating models, processes, standards and governance practices.
• Translate strategic objectives into a practical capability roadmap.
• Establish common ways of working across business, data and IT, driving adoption.
• Define measures and KPIs to monitor adoption and impact.
• Facilitate workshops and governance forums with stakeholders.
• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders, data roles, and IT.
• Monitor industry developments and apply value-adding practices.
