Job summary

Volvo Group in Wroclaw, Poland seeks a Senior Data Governance Consultant / SME to strengthen Data Governance & Data Management capabilities. You will evolve the governance model, translate it into practical implementation guidance, and support adoption across the organization.

You will create implementation playbooks, shape governance capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply the model and improve approaches with practical feedback.

Qualifications

• Background in Data Governance & Data Management within large organisations.
• Ability to structure complex topics and translate governance concepts into practical guidance.
• Proven experience designing governance frameworks and operating models.

Responsibilities

• Translate governance model into practical playbooks, workflows, templates and examples.
• Define and evolve governance capabilities for data domains, assets and products.
• Collaborate with governance roles and delivery teams to apply the model and improve practice.
• Evolve interfaces with existing VG governance structures and clarify responsibilities.
• Develop onboarding and learning materials and assess implementation maturity.
