Job summary

GlobalLogic Kraków is seeking a Senior Data Governance & Security Engineer to build core data governance and security capabilities across Open applications, AI agents, analytics products and business workflows.

You will implement governance, security, compliance and commercial control capabilities, collaborate with platform teams, and drive data lineage, access controls and policy enforcement using tools like Purview/Collibra/Databricks. Strong communication and cloud skills required.

Qualifications

• Implement governance, security, compliance and commercial control capabilities across the platform.
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern data ecosystems — e.g. Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control and testing best practices.
• Excellent communication skills; translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Passion for data to drive better decisions in media, marketing and beyond.
