• 12+ years of professional experience in IT, data, technology or related areas.
• Significant practical experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Strategy or related data-focused areas.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills to operate as an independent expert.

Responsibilities

• Assess current data management approach and identify governance gaps, risks and improvements.
• Design and implement a practical Data Governance operating model.
• Develop a Data Governance strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Define governance processes including ownership, roles, data requirements, decision paths, and budgeting.
• Help establish ownership for data, data products and analytics solutions.
• Build alignment with stakeholders and communicate a strong business case for Data Governance.
• Provide practical recommendations and act as trusted Data Governance advisor.
