Metso is seeking a Lead Data Product Engineer to guide the development of enterprise data capabilities. You will provide technical leadership across data products, platforms and integration solutions, ensuring scalable, reliable and secure data solutions aligned with architecture and business goals.

You will lead cross-functional teams in a global Data & Analytics organization and drive data-driven decision making, digital solutions and AI initiatives with a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Strong expertise in data engineering, data integration, and data product development.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and data warehousing.
• Proven ability to lead technically complex implementations or engineering initiatives.
• Strong software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience with DataOps, infrastructure-as-code and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data products, pipelines, and integration solutions.
• Define and maintain data engineering standards, frameworks, patterns, and reusable assets.
• Guide evolution of enterprise data platforms for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and serving.
• Establish patterns for batch, streaming, event-driven and AI-enabled workloads.
• Embed data quality, metadata, lineage, observability, security, CI/CD into engineering delivery.
• Partner with Data Architects to translate architectural designs into robust production solutions.
• Review designs, resolve complex challenges, and optimize performance.
• Coach and mentor technical professionals and share knowledge.
