Job summary

EPAM Systems (Poland) sp. z o.o. is seeking a Data Governance leader to define and drive enterprise data strategy and governance programs.

You will engage with senior executives, shape roadmaps, and craft practical, scalable data policies across the client landscape. You will guide assessments, architect modern data management solutions, and support cross‑functional teams in implementing MVPs and broader enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a Consulting role leading Data Management & Governance initiatives.
• Deep practical subject matter expertise in at least 2-3 areas: Data Governance Operating model & Policies, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management & Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Compliance.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM) and how to implement them.
• Hands-on experience running workshops to discover priorities and readiness for enterprise Data Management & Governance vision.
• Extensive practical expertise with modern data stack, agile environments and high-end technologies.
• Excellent English communication for client interactions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior executives to define and execute Enterprise-wide Data Management & Governance Strategy programs and business-cases.
• Lead Data Management & Governance assessments to mature capabilities and create strategy, roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Build technology solutions for Data Management and Governance to create value across the client organization.
• Provide end-to-end services from strategy ideation to MVP implementation and enterprise scaling.
• Lead customer conversations and architectural teams to define modern Data Management architecture and practices.
• Support business development, including proposal development and client presentations.
• Create consulting offerings and reusable templates.
