Job summary

Universal Investment in Kraków seeks a Senior Controller to join our Pricing, Revenue Assurance and Profitability team. You will govern the pricing process from initial requests to the impact on revenue, ensuring controls that prevent non-approved pricing and revenue leakage.

We are seeking a highly professional, strategic-thinking, proactive, and stakeholder-oriented Senior Controller to join our Pricing, Revenue Assurance and Profitability team.

This role requires a good understanding of the asset management and fund administration industry and corresponding revenue generation, combined with great analytical and communication skills.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

The team directly and independently governs the risks to the revenue stream. The function monitors the Pricing process from initial sales requests to calculation of impact to the Company’s revenue in order to ensure that controls are in place to manage the risks to revenue collection for the organization. The goal is to ensure that appropriate controls are implemented and maintained to prevent non-approved pricing of client contracts and revenue leakage. Primary responsibilities:

• Elevate and increase the visibility of profitability concept across all divisions
• Improve client profitability by identifying revenue generating and cost reducing opportunities that can evolve from the pricing process
• Monitor and respond to pricing requests
• Ensure that all non-standard pricing is approved by the authorized approvers per company policy prior to client presentation
• Consult with appropriate Product Managers for pricing requests for any new products/services, and review new pricing to reflect billing and operational capabilities
• Assist Sales by completing any required documentation for RFP/RFIs
• Gather data points/volumes from Sales, Operations, Billing, Product to provide fee analysis with comparable client benchmarking to support pricing decisions
• Advance revenue leakage issues discovered by collaborating with Sales, Billing, Operations, Product.
• Support preparing the monthly Pricing committee

Profitability:

• Develop and enhance pricing models, and evaluate new data, tools and techniques to enhance pricing capability
• Design a new product and client profitability tool, in close collaboration with Commercial, Product and Operations teams as well as other Controlling functions
• Ensure transparent cost allocations for products and customers
• Analyze profitability by product, client and business segment
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue performance
• Prepare regular profitability reports and derive action items
• Support the CFO and commercial/product teams with ad-hoc analysis

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Maintain high data quality standards and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits related to revenue process.
• Assisting the securities and cash reconciliation teams

Your skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• More than 5 years of experience in financial roles, with responsibility for Revenue or Commercial related tasks
• Proven experience in managing relationships to senior management
• Strong understanding of revenue models in asset management
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
