Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Cloud Architect to shape the cloud strategy and build scalable, secure Azure-based platforms. You will design and govern enterprise-grade cloud solutions, contribute to governance models, and guide migrations of critical applications while aligning with a digital transformation agenda.

Based in a European setting, you will collaborate with security teams, application teams and external partners to enable Zero Trust principles, landing zones and cross-team standards.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to explain cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise-grade cloud platforms and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Define architecture standards and reference architectures for cloud adoption.
• Support migration of business-critical applications to Azure.
• Design Azure Landing Zones, management groups and policy-based governance.
• Collaborate with security specialists and external partners for scalable, secure solutions.
• Drive cloud security initiatives based on Zero Trust and security frameworks.
• Contribute to hybrid architectures integrating Azure, SAP ERP, Kafka and other tech.
• Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy and long-term roadmaps.
• Promote operational excellence, automation and continuous improvement.
