Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Linux Engineer to design, build and operate a stable Linux platform across on-premises and cloud environments. You will collaborate with platform engineering, automation, cloud services and sysadmin teams to deliver reliable infrastructure.

The role involves scripting, automation, security hardening, monitoring and governance activities, with opportunities to work in a hybrid Poland-based setup.

Qualifications

• A degree in IT, Engineering, Science or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux, preferably RHEL.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage RHEL-based environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Automate and manage configurations using Ansible, AAP or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot Linux OS issues and manage services/performance.
