Job summary

Coforge Kraków is seeking an experienced senior C++ software engineer to own the design and delivery of mission-critical backend services. You will champion modern C++ practices, multithreading, and low-latency architectures in a hybrid work setup.

You will collaborate across product and architecture teams to define standards, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in a cloud-native GCP environment with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional C++ software engineering experience.
• Expert in Modern C++ (17/20/23) and performance engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix development, debugging, and profiling skills.
• Experience with NoSQL data modeling and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and architecture for mission-critical C++ backend services.
• Lead end-to-end execution of business and technical features.
• Define architecture standards and best practices across services.
• Design and evolve high-performance, low-latency microservices in CI/CD.
• Drive performance optimization across distributed systems in a cloud-native (GCP, containers) environment.
• Lead capacity planning and architectural reviews for future growth.
• Plan and execute performance, load, stress, endurance testing strategies.
• Own service reliability, observability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Act as technical escalation point for production issues and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture to translate requirements into solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption where appropriate.
