Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. is seeking a Senior C++ Developer in Krakow to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for cutting-edge products. You will lead modules, optimize performance, and contribute to architecture and CI/CD initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in C++ development, strong Linux knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Embedded experience is a plus; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++11/14/17/20, OO design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and network programming.
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Google Test) and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex software modules using C++.
• Architect and optimize software for performance and scalability in distributed systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and other engineers to define requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; provide timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior developers and foster continuous improvement.
