Job summary

Corge Coforge is recruiting a Senior C++ Developer in Krakow, Poland, to design and build modern microservices with a focus on high throughput and low latency. You will contribute to data structures, memory management, and distributed systems within a GitHub Actions CI/CD workflow.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of C++ experience, strong knowledge of STL/Boost, and hands-on work with GCP Pub/Sub, REST/JSON APIs, and NoSQL data modeling. Remote work is acceptable on a hybrid basis.

We are at coforge hiring for SeniorC++ Developers in Krakow Poland with Modern C++ (17/20/23), Multithreading, Data Structures, migration/ETL processes and AI Tools (Copilot/Agentic), NoSQL data modeling and CI/CD toolchains (GitHub Actions); scripting (Python/Bash)

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug modern C++ microservices
• Maintain and evolve core microservices architecture and APIs (REST/JSON, Pub/Sub) within a shared codebase
• Build and operate high-performance distributed systems on GCP
• Optimize low-latency services, including multithreading and complex memory management
• Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, and scalability tests to identify bottlenecks and validate system behavior under production-like workloads
• Perform application profiling and performance diagnostics, driving continuous improvements in latency, throughput, resource utilization, and overall system efficiency
• Maintain code quality and ensure systems remain secure, observable, and integrated with platform services
• Create meaningful unit tests and maintain strong automated test coverage
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in on-call support, including warranty phases, if required
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions for the travel and airline industry
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a C++ Developer
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Expertise in: Modern C++ (17/20/23), Multithreading, Data Structures, and performance tuning (memory management, low-latency optimization)
• Proficiency in the C++ Standard Library (STL) and Boost C++ Libraries
• Expertise in: GCP Pub/Sub, and REST/JSON APIs (gRPC is nice to have)
• Understanding of: OAuth2, JWT, and cloud security best practices
• Solid knowledge of algorithmic thinking and distributed systems architecture, including consistency, durability, and failure/resiliency considerations
• Fluency in Git-based workflows and large-scale CI/CD toolchains (GitHub Actions); scripting (Python/Bash) to support automation, tooling, and operations
• Strong understanding of NoSQL data modeling and document design, including denormalization strategies and evolution/versioning of schemas
• Experience building migration/ETL processes, data backfills, and reconciliation/validation tooling to ensure functional equivalence during cutover
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, common design patterns, and clean code best practices
• Good Unix/Linux knowledge and experience developing, debugging, profiling, and operating services in Linux environments (including large-scale/legacy codebases)
• Hands‑on experience with performance engineering, including profiling, benchmarking, load testing, stress testing, scalability testing, and root‑cause analysis of performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
• Experience using performance analysis and observability tools
• Experience working with AI Tools (Copilot/Agentic)
• Experience migrating or modernizing persistence layers, including rewriting applications from legacy object databases (e.g., Versant) to distributed NoSQL platforms (e.g., Couchbase)
• Hands‑on experience with Couchbase, including buckets, scopes/collections, indexing, N1QL querying, and use of Couchbase SDKs (C++ preferred)

Nice To Have Skills

• Travel/airline domain experience with understanding of airline inventory workflows and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
