Bechtel is seeking a Senior Buyer to join the Warsaw project office for the AP1000 nuclear project in Poland. The role requires full-time presence, with potential part-time telework as the project progresses.

You will manage bid processes, audits, and supplier contracts, supporting a complex EPC delivery in a high-stakes environment. The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering and procurement teams to ensure compliant, efficient procurement across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilités

• Develops and prepares project master purchases proforma forms with terms and conditions.
• Prepares project bidder lists and maintains input from procurement functions.
• Communicates with Engineering to assist in material requisition preparation.
• Issues and administers purchase orders and negotiates terms.
• Guides procurement staff on purchasing forms, procedures and buying goods.
