Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Warsaw is seeking a Commercial Manager for AP1000 New Plants Projects to oversee contract management across the project lifecycle.

The role reports to the Director Commercial Operations – Energy Systems and requires an engineering or related degree, 5–8 years in contract management, and fluent English. EPC/Power project experience is preferred; hybrid/onsite in Poland with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering, Business Administration or Finance; Contract Management.
• At least 5-8 years real experience as Contract Manager for projects in Europe.
• Experience in Power Industry EPC Project execution would be preferable.
• Experience in contract negotiations, change orders negotiations and risk monitoring.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Current Contract Execution from project kick-off to closure and contract management activities.
• Execute contract strategy and implement strategic opportunities.
• Support Legal in dispute resolution and report major claims.
• Analyze prime contract terms to identify opportunities and risks with Legal input.
• Ensure contract insurance provisions are observed.
• Support for development of Purchase Orders, Contracts and Subcontracts.
• Assist in EPC contract negotiations and execution through EP+C.
• Draft Project Review docs and management briefing materials.
• Execute change order procedures, invoicing and analyze commercial data with teams.
• Collaborate with project management and external customers.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve processes.
