Arup in Poland is seeking a Senior BIA Energy Consultant to lead strategic and technical advisory services for major energy investments across Poland and Europe, working directly with investors, developers, lenders, and public sector bodies.

You will manage due diligence, market assessments, and investment appraisals, mentor junior staff, and help expand Arup's Energy Advisory offering in Poland, combining technical insight with commercial acumen in a fast-evolving energy landscape.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years delivering advisory services in energy or infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• English and Polish fluency; ability to work cross-nationally.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with specialists from across Arup's global network, contributing to high-impact projects that accelerate the energy transition. From supporting the financing of renewable energy assets to advising investors on major energy infrastructure developments, you'll help shape a more sustainable and resilient energy future.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to play a leading role in delivering strategic and technical advisory services for some of the most significant energy investments in Poland and across Europe.

You will work directly with investors, developers, financial institutions, and infrastructure owners, helping them understand risks, identify opportunities, and make confident investment decisions. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning renewable energy, battery storage, hydrogen, power networks, and broader energy transition initiatives.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary project teams, develop client relationships, drive business growth, and contribute to the expansion of Arup's Energy Advisory offering in Poland. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoys solving complex challenges in a fast-evolving sector.

As a Senior BIA Energy Consultant at Arup, you will:

• Lead the delivery of technical and commercial advisory assignments for energy sector clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and trusted client relationships.
• Manage technical due diligence, feasibility studies, market assessments, investment appraisals, and lender or investor support services for energy infrastructure projects.
• Advise developers, investors, lenders, and public sector organisations on project risks, opportunities, regulatory requirements, and energy transition strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Arup's global network to develop innovative and practical solutions for complex client challenges.
• Support business development activities by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, contributing to client engagement, and expanding Arup's presence within the Polish energy market.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continued growth and development of the local Energy Advisory team.

Ideally, You'll Bring

• Degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, with significant experience in energy consulting, project development, technical advisory, or infrastructure investment.
• +5 years of experience delivering advisory services for energy sector projects, including renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission and distribution, hydrogen, or other energy transition technologies.
• Strong understanding of project finance, technical due diligence, investment appraisal, and energy market dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills, with experience presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English and Polish, with the ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary environments.
