Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a seasoned System Analyst to join our banking projects in Toruń. You will prepare business and system analyses for banking applications, define requirements with business units, and validate user stories across back-end and front-end teams.

You will model functionality in UML/BPMN, maintain functional documentation, coordinate IT tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders, developers and testers to ensure high quality deliveries in a evolving modular architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in system analysis or business-system analysis.
• Ability to create and read UML, BPMN models.
• Practical experience with Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of communication between systems (REST, KAFKA, WSO2).
• Experience in projects related to the development of IT systems in the banking industry.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Technical higher education - computer science or related fields.
• Located in Poland and fluent in Polish.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of business and system analysis for banking applications
• Collaboration with business units to define business requirements
• Gathering and analyzing requirements, as well as preparing and validating user stories
• Collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and testers in the development of applications and ensuring their quality
• Coordination of tasks between IT teams regarding the implemented functionality, responsibility for delivering functionality
• Modeling functionality (UML or BPMN) according to the accepted standard
• Maintaining and managing functional documentation for implemented deployments
• Working with the team's backlog
• Supporting applications in the testing environment
