Job summary

Peloton is seeking a mid level Software Engineer in Warsaw to design and develop scalable microservices powering core features across Bike, Tread, Strength, and Digital. You will contribute to search, voice, and subtitles, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.

The role requires 3+ years of backend experience, proficiency in Kotlin or Python, and familiarity with Spring Boot, databases, and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• Mid level software engineer with backend focus.
• 3+ years of software development experience building backend cloud applications.
• Experience with Kotlin, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiar with relational and NoSQL databases and search systems.
• Understanding of API design, security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs and services with high availability and low latency.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and communicate with leads and TPMs.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and reusable components.
• Scale services while meeting product requirements under supervision.
• Use monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Implement CI/CD, feature toggles, logging, and observability best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
