Job summary

Peloton Interactive seeks a mid-level Software Engineer to join an agile team delivering scalable microservices for core features across Bike, Tread, and Digital. The Content AI Team focuses on NLP/ASR models and power search, voice, and subtitles.

You will build, test, deploy, and monitor services while coordinating with TPMs and engineering leads to align with international growth. You will implement industry best practices, participate in sprint rituals, and contribute to reusable code and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years building backend cloud applications in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Kotlin or Python and modern web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of databases, caching and search technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices powering core Peloton features.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide status updates to leads.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code with good documentation.
• Build reusable components and patterns used across teams.
• Scale services to meet product requirements, under supervision.
• Utilize monitoring and load-testing tools to address bottlenecks.
• Apply CI/CD, feature toggles, logging and security best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
