Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development or engineering.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing multi-region, multi-tenant platforms with strong isolation and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly technical goals for the Communications area.
• Design, evolve, and operate backend services for high-volume communications across multi-region, multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate with product management, design, security, and eng partners throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design and operate integrations with external messaging vendors.
• Define service-level objectives, improve alerting and incident response, and participate in on-call efforts.
