Job summary

Commit in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team and drive the creation of high-performance, scalable backend systems. You will work with Python, Django, and modern cloud technologies to deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities include designing microservices, leveraging AWS services, and managing Kubernetes deployments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security, performance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development with backend focus.
• Strong Python experience; Django is a bonus.
• Fluent Ukrainian language and good collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust backend apps in Python (Django is a plus).
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures.
• Leverage AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS) for cloud-based solutions.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments and containerized workloads.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape architecture and strategy.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system efficiency.
