Digital Forms is seeking a Lead Back-End Engineer in Poland with a strong track record in designing scalable backend systems and leading engineering teams.

You will architect and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS, champion best practices, and mentor a group of engineers to deliver high-quality, secure software.

This role offers flexible hours and fully remote work within Poland, with a focus on delivering impactful digital transformation for clients.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Python expertise with Django and FastAPI.
• Advanced AWS knowledge with serverless patterns (AWS Lambda) and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).
• System architecture experience with scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or AWS CDK in production.
• Leadership or mentorship experience with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-level backend architecture for scalable systems.
• Set core back-end standards, coding best practices, and code review processes.
• Architect cloud solutions on AWS with serverless and container-based patterns, IaC.
• Hands-on development: write clean, maintainable code for key modules.
• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering growth and high performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Champion comprehensive technical documentation and engineering culture.
