Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Card Checkout team to build and operate backend systems powering the checkout experience.

You'll join a remote-first, Poland-based role working with a full-stack team of backend and mobile engineers, collaborating with product, design and analytics to deliver scalable solutions. You will design and implement components, analyze trade-offs, write clean tests, and participate in interviews and growth opportunities within a distributed, globally

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems, proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes.
• Write high-quality, understandable, well-tested, extensible code.
• Comfort in navigating large codebases and reviewing others' code.
