Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java + Angular) in Katowice, Poland, to develop applications for a major aeronautical client. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, proficiency in Spring and ElasticSearch, and strong problem-solving skills.

The position includes high-quality software development responsibilities, involvement in a multinational team, and a salary range of PLN 12000-16000 gross/month. Interested applicants must have EU citizenship and be located in Poland.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience in a senior or senior-ready role.
• Strong knowledge of Spring 5.2 and Springboot 2.3.
• Hands-on knowledge of ElasticSearch 7.17-8.X and Neo4j 4.4–5.X.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clean code.
• Participate in code reviews and unit/integration testing.
