Job summary

Nordea seeks a Senior AI Specialist to own reliable, secure AI-enabled platforms and to guide teams in deploying AI responsibly. The role covers design of AI workflows, scalable production environments, and collaboration across product, security and cloud teams. Hybrid work is offered with up to 40% remote.

Openings in Gdańsk/Gdynia, Warsaw, Helsinki, Stockholm or Copenhagen with international collaboration and a strong DevOps mindset.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud; knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix; strong troubleshooting using logs and metrics.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Git.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of reliable, secure and scalable cloud and AI-enabled services, including on-call rotation.
• Define and improve observability and operational practices across logging, monitoring, SLOs, incidents.
• Design and implement AI-enabled environments, including agentic AI solutions and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Translate business and operational needs into sustainable technical solutions with dependencies and risks.
• Provide expert guidance to users and engineering teams on adoption of environments and tools.
• Own the development, test and production platforms lifecycle for stability and performance.
• Drive technical decisions with governance, security and long-term value.
• Collaborate with Nordea teams across countries.
