Nordea invites applications for a Senior AI Specialist to own reliable, secure, and scalable AI-enabled platforms. You will shape solution choices, build production-grade AI infrastructure, and guide teams in responsible AI adoption according to Nordea standards.

You will join the SRE Operations team, modernizing legacy platforms to containerized architectures (Mirantis Kubernetes, Docker) and leading onboarding of services to our infrastructure.

Competenze

• 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations, site reliability engineering, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong DevOps and operations expertise across support, maintenance, deployment, automation and platform administration.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud operations in Google Cloud; knowledge of AWS or Azure is an advantage.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across logs, metrics and traces.
• Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Git‑based repository management.
• Experience designing or operating AI‑enabled solutions, such as generative AI services or retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Judgement to balance innovation with security, resilience and governance.
• Lead‑by‑doing approach with practical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Take technical ownership of reliable, secure and scalable cloud and AI‑enabled services.
• Define and improve observability and operational practices including SLOs and incident response.
• Design and implement AI‑enabled environments and end‑to‑end workflows.
• Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions and manage dependencies/risks.
• Provide expert guidance to users and engineering teams and resolve complex issues.
• Own the implementation and lifecycle of development, test and production platforms.
• Drive technical decisions aligned with architecture, security and governance.
• Act as a senior technical partner, reviewing solutions and raising engineering quality.
• Collaborate globally with Nordea teams across countries.
