Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a senior AI-native software engineer who will own the full stack—from APIs to UI and orchestration pipelines. You will work closely with business teams to design and deliver scalable GenAI workflows that power Mars segments.

You will apply responsible AI practices, integrate with legacy systems, and mentor peers while shaping platform roadmaps and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into work processes and automating workflows.
• 10+ years of software engineering with 3+ years in customer-facing or embedded roles.
• Proven ability to design and implement AI-native software in production environments.
• Backend: Python, Node.js, Java; Frontend: React, Angular; APIs: REST/GraphQL.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, prompt chaining, vector search, and context management.
• DevOps: Azure or GCP with CI/CD, containers, and infra-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Build LLM-enabled applications spanning backend logic, data orchestration, and UI.
• Adopt responsible AI practices and deploy compliant solutions with RBAC.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to adapt, deploy, and iterate in live environments.
• Codify reusable assets: libraries, prompts, scaffolds to accelerate engagements.
• Engineer APIs, orchestration pipelines, vector DBs, LLM frameworks, UI components.
• Integrate with legacy systems and scale deliveries.
• Inform product strategy through tested insights and extensible code.
• Engage and influence internal stakeholders to set priorities.
