Job summary

Mars is seeking a high-caliber Supply Chain & Manufacturing Forward Deployed AI Engineer to lead rapid prototyping, discovery, and PoC delivery. The role combines agile software delivery, frontline engagement, and modern AI/ML systems architecture on a hybrid basis.

The ideal candidate will embed with frontline operations to understand bottlenecks, translate them into technical requirements, and write robust Python code driving tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in software/analytics with at least 2 years building GenAI solutions.
• Experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing environments.
• Production-grade Python and clean coding practices.

Responsibilities

• On-site frontline engagement to map operational bottlenecks and translate them into user stories and specs.
• Prototype AI solutions and deploy working PoCs using Python and cloud tech.
• Design and build API integrations with shop-floor platforms (e.g., MES, ERP).
• Develop scalable AI architectures including RAG pipelines and knowledge graphs.
