Job summary

RWS is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to shape architecture and core platforms for AI-driven capabilities at scale. The role blends research, software engineering, and rigorous testing to deliver production-ready AI systems.

You will lead technical directions, mentor engineers, and drive evaluation methodologies while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable AI features across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Proficiency in Python or another general-purpose language.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or ML systems and understanding their failure modes.
• Experience designing evaluation strategies and metrics for AI/ML systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and mentoring能力.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of core platform components and evaluation systems with reliability and maintainability in mind.
• Define and implement evaluation frameworks, tooling, and benchmarking for AI capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership, review code, and raise engineering standards across teams.
• Prototype and de-risk new platform capabilities and drive them into production.
• Collaborate with research, product, and localization stakeholders to align roadmaps and requirements.
