Job summary

Lingaro is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the Data Science and AI Competency Center. You will design and build production-grade AI systems, including LLM-based experiences, retrieval pipelines, tool use, orchestration layers, and agentic workflows with a focus on reliability and business impact.

You will collaborate with product teams to drive value, define evaluation-driven development loops, and mentor engineers while upholding governance and security standards in a fast-changing AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in AI or data-intensive systems
• Excellent Python programming skills and cloud experience (Azure/AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies and LLMs

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve shared AI capabilities and reusable services
• Design and implement production-grade AI systems including LLM-based experiences and retrieval pipelines
• Create technical artifacts to improve clarity and delivery quality
• Define evaluation-driven development loops for AI systems
• Partner with product teams to identify cross-product opportunities
• Contribute to AI-native engineering practices and automated testing
• Apply guardrails for AI reliability, observability, and governance
• Prototype new approaches and turn AI capabilities into scalable building blocks
• Support and guide engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Align implementation choices with customer value and measurable outcomes
