Job summary

Billennium is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and deliver production-grade AI applications across agentic AI, LLM-powered solutions and enterprise automation. You will own end-to-end delivery from architecture to deployment, with strong emphasis on scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related field.
• Proven experience deploying AI/LLM-powered applications to production.
• Strong Python development and production API experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, LLM applications or agentic workflows.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Docker.
• Strong software architecture and APIs expertise.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications and AI agents.
• Build agentic workflows and integrate with external services.
• Develop conversational AI and user-facing AI applications.
• Integrate LLMs from multiple providers.
• Apply prompt engineering, context management and guardrails.
• Design and implement RAG solutions with embeddings and vector search.
• Develop retrieval strategies and improve chunking and context.
• Work with vector databases and search technologies.
• Explore hybrid or graph-based RAG approaches.
• Build production-grade Python services and APIs with FastAPI.
• Design scalable backend architectures and integration layers.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and production-ready.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients.
• Contribute to solution architecture and delivery planning.
