Job summary

Lingarogroup is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to build and evolve shared AI capabilities across our construction software products. You will design production-grade AI systems, including LLM-based experiences, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows.

You will collaborate with AI PM/PO, engineers, and business stakeholders to align implementation choices with customer value, deliver scalable building blocks, and improve delivery speed through automation and Spec-Driven Development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with production-grade AI or data-intensive systems.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in Azure/AWS cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies and applications.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, tooling, agents, and their trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve shared AI capabilities and engineering accelerators across multiple software products.
• Design and implement production-grade AI systems including LLM-based experiences and retrieval pipelines.
• Create technical artifacts to improve clarity, speed, and quality of delivery.
• Define evaluation loops for AI systems covering quality, reliability, latency, cost, and grounding.
