Coforge is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Controller in Krakow to manage daily supplier invoice checks and payments preparation within a defined scope. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and fluent English.

The position is 3 days per week onsite in Krakow under a permanent UoP contract, with responsibilities including monthly close support, reconciliations, and timely communication with suppliers. Additional European language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles is essential.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Good English language skills (Intermediate or higher).
• Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
• More than 7 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilités

• Check supplier invoices and prepare them for payments within assigned area.
• Maintain timely reconciliations and ensure accuracy of data input.
• Communicate with suppliers in a professional business manner.
• Support monthly close activities and reporting per schedules.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and back-up duties as needed.
• Produce weekly progress reports on work performed.

Key Activities/ Objectives of this role

Checking of the Company supplier invoices and prepares them for the payments within assigned area of responsibility is the main purpose of the function "AP Controller". The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Client /JTBE AP Department and help the Company be fully aware of its financial condition. This needs to be done with strong commitment to the company and its policies.

Role Requirements / Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Good English language skills (Intermediate and above)
• Knowledge of any other European language is a plus
• More than 7+ year of relevant work experience

Key Activities

• Manage day-to-day tasks – checking invoices from suppliers, initial data input
• Completes tasks strictly in accordance with instructions for assigned area of responsibility
• Communication with suppliers on behalf of the company in proper business style and professional manner
• Timely preparation of assigned reconciliations with suppliers
• Solve queries on suppliers' complaints, reminders, invoice status or any other requests
• Approvement of creditors information details at the creditor DB
• Provides timely and accurate information to Destination office on invoices payment status
• Carrying out back-up tasks for an absent colleague as specified in department back-up plan
• Weekly reports on work progress
• Complete monthly close activities and reports in accordance with monthly close schedules
• Keeping information confidential
• Preparation of certain statistical reports upon request
• Other current tasks assigned by Client /JTBE AP Supervisor
