Job summary

Darwin Recruitment seeks a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data 360 Consultant for a Europe-based, 100% remote freelance assignment. You will lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition for a financial services client, migrating email marketing from an existing tool, with Data 360 underpinning the setup from day one.

The project covers about 8 multilingual campaigns (Czech, Slovak, English) for around 10 marketing users over a five-week build, then ongoing

Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data 360 Consultant (DRWN)

Contract Length – 2 months initial build, with ongoing support thereafter (Extendable)

Project focus

Lead the end-to-end implementation of a standalone Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition platform for a financial-services client, migrating their email marketing from an existing tool. Data 360 underpins the setup from day one, holding contacts and segments and paving the way for a future CRM integration. The initial scope covers around 8 multi-language email campaigns (Czech, Slovak, English) for roughly 10 marketing users, delivered over a 5-week build, followed by ongoing platform and campaign support.

Key skills and Experience required

• Proven end-to-end implementations of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition on the Salesforce core platform, as the builder, not only as a user
• Hands-on Data 360 (Data Cloud) delivery: data streams, standard data model mapping, identity resolution, segmentation with activation to Marketing Cloud, and calculated insights
• Designing Data 360 for future CRM ingestion (Ingestion API, SFTP/cloud storage connectors), refresh strategies and event-driven triggers
• Email channel setup including sender profiles and SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication
• Branded, responsive, multi-language templates with dynamic content and personalisation
• Flow-based campaign and journey automation, double opt-in, subscription forms and preference centres using the Salesforce consent data model
• Migrating email marketing data and campaigns between platforms, including field mapping, deduplication and preserving consent audit trails
• GDPR consent management in the EU, ideally within banking or other regulated industries
• Running discovery workshops, training business users and acting as sole lead consultant through to go-live
• Familiarity with Agentforce for Marketing is a plus, as are Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud certifications and Czech or Slovak language skills
