Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Solution Architect to lead the discovery, design, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud architectures that power AI-driven use cases across Service, Marketing, and Agent-based experiences. You’ll define scalable data models (DLO/DMO), identity resolution strategies, and real-time activation patterns; orchestrate integrations with Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery and MuleSoft; and serve as a trusted advisor translating complex data concepts into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, requirements, and data strategy definition aligned to business outcomes.
• Assess legacy and cloud data ecosystems; design the Salesforce Data Cloud target architecture and migration path.
• Define DLO/DMO, identity resolution, consent/governance, and real-time activation patterns.
• Produce enterprise solution blueprints, integration frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Architect and oversee integrations with MuleSoft, Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift, batch and streaming.
• Partner with product/engineering to ensure delivery quality, scalability, and security.
• Support pre-sales: build demos, estimates, and value-oriented presentations.
• Evangelize modern concepts (zero-copy, segmentation, audience activation, AI/LLM on unified data).

Requirements

• 8+ years in technology consulting / data architecture; 3+ years hands-on in Salesforce ecosystem with Data Cloud (DLO/DMO, ingestion, activation).
• Proven E2E delivery from discovery/design to deployment and enablement.
• Experience with modern data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift.
• Strong fundamentals in data modeling, identity resolution, governance/consent, segmentation.
• MuleSoft and API design patterns; batch/streaming integrations.
• Familiarity with analytics/BI (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Working proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Excellent client-facing communication and executive presentation skills.
• Preferred: Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant/Architect certifications.
