Job summary

Aptiv PLC in Kraków is seeking an experienced RTR Subject Matter Expert to support complex accounting processes across the business. You will prepare journals, process fixed asset transactions, payroll, and VAT closings while ensuring accurate financial data.

You will coordinate month-end close, run standard closing tasks, reconcile GL accounts, and support audits. The role requires independence, collaboration with team members, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years accounting experience.
• 3+ years general ledger experience.
• University degree in finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• English - very good in writing and speaking.
• SAP knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert for RTR processes; supporting projects and operation in complex processes, accounting cases and issue resolution.
• Preparing and processing journal entries (e.g. calculation and booking of accruals/provisions).
• Recording fixed assets transactions (internal order, project creation and asset creation, capitalization, disposal, transfer, sale).
• Processing of payroll files and payroll reconciliation.
• VAT closing.
• Coordination of month end closing (MEC) activities.
• Running standard closing processes such as FX valuation, cost allocation, depreciation, reclassification.
• Reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Cross-checking and uploading financial reports into FDM/HFM.
• Generating standard reports such as fixed asset register, CWIP, list of MJVs posted.
• Analyzing and researching data to ensure accurate financial information.
• Running Year End procedure and processing beginning balance adjustments.
• Coordination of audit processes by providing/collecting requested documentation.
• Working independently, supporting other team members.
• Participate/lead in special projects and activities defined by business and implemented by GBS.
• Recognize improvement areas and propose/implement solutions, leading projects focusing on Continuous Improvement.
• Solving complex problems and coaching others.
• Building knowledge of the organization; acting as resource of knowledge for colleagues.
• Supporting Team Leader in people management tasks.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in accounting6+ years
• Working experience in general ledger3+
• University degree in finance
