Job summary

Versigent is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing across the EMEA region using SAP. The role requires attention to detail, English fluency, and strong analytical skills. You will contribute to month-end closings and collaborate with the audit team on controls.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (preferred).
• Very good command of English.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Strong prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Accounts Payable processes would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process inflows of payable invoices within the EMEA region into SAP.
• Ensure accuracy of financial postings and clear supplier accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and coordinate with audit department when needed.
• Assist in ad-hoc and non-standard activities.
• Participate in projects and improvement initiatives with Supervisor/Project Manager.

YOUR ROLE

• Processing inflows of payable invoices within EMEA region into SAP system;
• Controlling over accuracy of financial postings, correction of errors and clearing of open positions on suppliers’ accounts;
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing tasks;
• Performing daily processes according to the Standard Operational Procedures and collaboration with audit department in case of internal or external control;
• Assisting in ad-hoc and non-standard activities;
• Participating in the projects and improvement actions, by assisting Supervisor/Project Manager.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• At least 1 year of experience on similar position;
• University Graduate - Education in Accounting, Finance, or Economy (preferred);
• Very good command of English language;
• Knowledge of MS Excel, experience in working with SAP would be an asset;
• Well-developed prioritization and time management skills, good analytical skills, and problem-solving approach;
• Experience in Accounts Payable process would be an asset.
