Job summary

WellTheory is hiring a Workforce Strategy & Planning Lead to support growth and efficiency of our Care Team operations. You will build forecasting models, planning systems, and processes to enable care at scale while maintaining quality and provider satisfaction.

This role reports to our Co-Founder and Head of Ops and works cross-functionally with Care, Product, Marketing, and Finance to guide staffing decisions and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in operations, strategy, workforce planning, or capacity management roles, preferably in healthcare, tech, or service delivery.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools a plus (Looker/Tableau).
• Systems mindset with ability to build scalable processes; strong PM skills; comfortable with ambiguity in startups.
• Excellent cross-team communication; ability to translate business needs into operational plans.
• Motivated by mission-driven, early-stage environments; able to define new workflows from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own workforce capacity modeling and forecasting based on user growth, enrollment trends, and care delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with Care leadership to define and monitor productivity, caseload distribution, and resourcing strategy.
• Partner with Marketing and Product teams to anticipate upcoming needs and proactively plan staffing accordingly.
• Analyze performance and utilization metrics to surface operational improvements.
• Create scalable tools, dashboards, and workflows that align people and process across the care journey.
• Support hiring plans, onboarding ramp timelines, and ongoing performance monitoring.
