Job summary

Kake is a remote-first, people-first global community of senior engineers. We are seeking a Pipeline Developer to help build the pipeline behind large-format immersive displays. You will develop Unreal Engine plugins, automate the VFX workflow, and integrate Perforce across tools for 16k+ rendering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Unreal Engine development, including plugin development.
• Experience optimizing rendering pipelines for large-format displays (16k+).
• Experience integrating cloud rendering into production pipelines.
• Hands-on Perforce version control and pipeline workflows.
• Experience with asset management and publishing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Unreal Engine plugins for rendering and pipeline workflows.
• Build automation and tooling to streamline the VFX pipeline from asset creation to delivery.
• Implement and maintain Perforce pipeline integration across studio tools.
• Manage materials and assets through publishing and asset management systems.
• Integrate Unreal Engine workflows with proprietary encoding, playback, and cloud rendering systems.
