Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node/React) - Remote

We’re looking for Senior Software Engineers specializing in Node.js/React, skilled in building high-performance, scalable systems that support millions of users, and committed to solid architectural judgment and engineering best practices. It's a great fit for people who enjoy owning problems end-to-end, working across the stack, and collaborating closely with product and design to ship reliable, well-crafted software.

What you’ll build and own

• Build and ship production features end-to-end across Node.js backends and React frontends, owning your work from implementation through deployment.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that serve as the contract between frontend and backend systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design, applying event-driven thinking where it fits.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, choosing the right database and structure for each use case.
• Write clean, well-tested code and set up the observability needed to catch and debug issues in live systems.

Core Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on work in Node.js and React.
• Hands-on experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with modern git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong system-design instincts: data modelling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.
• Comfortable with relational databases and SQL, plus familiarity with NoSQL such as MongoDB or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

• AI-forward mindset with active use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery, while staying the engineer who judges correctness.
• Experience with e-commerce, payments, video platforms, or other correctness-critical domains is a strong plus.
• Availability to work aligned with the partner's time zone.
