Platige Image is seeking a Freelance Unreal Engine FX Project Lead to oversee an international team delivering top-tier real-time FX work. The role involves mentoring artists and collaborating closely with Supervisors to produce visually stunning effects using Unreal Engine.

With a focus on creativity and performance optimization, candidates should have over 5 years of experience in the FX or games industry. This full-time role is planned from mid June to mid November 2026.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in the real-time FX or games industry.
• Solid experience in a lead role.
• AAA production or high-end cinematic experience.
• Excellent expertise in Unreal Engine, with a deep mastery of the Niagara VFX system.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assign and review tasks for real-time effects.
• Mentor and lead Unreal FX Artists.
• Run daily team calls to review progress.
• Evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots.
• Drive technological development of the workflow.
