Job summary

Accenture Strategy in Europe seeks a seasoned consultant to shape, evaluate and execute complex M&A and PE transactions. You will work directly with clients across Europe, coordinating cross-border workstreams and delivering measurable deal impact.

You will lead or support pre-deal diligence, Day 1 readiness, integration or separation programs, and value creation initiatives, collaborating with business and tech leaders to produce actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• M&A strategy and execution experience in consulting, transaction advisory, PE, or similar deal environment.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one area: Tech/IT M&A, Functional M&A, or end-to-end deal lifecycle.
• Experience beyond pre-deal phases such as Day 1 readiness, merger integration, separation or value creation.

Responsibilities

• Own workstreams across M&A and PE engagements spanning pre-deal diligence, deal execution, Day 1 readiness, post-merger integration, separation/carve-out, and value creation.
• Translate ambiguous deal challenges into structured workplans and client-ready recommendations.
• Support or lead target screening, due diligence (Commercial, Operational, Tech/IT/Cybersecurity), synergy and value creation assessment.
• Plan and execute Day 1 readiness, integration and separation programs across business functions and technology.
• Drive or support IMO/SMO governance, RAID management, steering committee cadences and executive reporting.
• Functional M&A work across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, and IT, with operating model design.
