This role plays a key part in the canonical data model initiative, providing normalized, low-latency versions of transaction, market, and reference data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Rust in distributed systems.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of time-series databases such as QuestDB, KDB, or InfluxDB.
• Understanding of capital markets and market data (equities, derivatives, futures, options).

Responsibilities

• Design and build a distributed caching layer for high-throughput, low-latency market data distribution.
• Leverage QuestDB to support fast data access across the platform.
• Collaborate with technical leads on architecture and integration decisions.
• Support consolidation of feed handlers and connectivity layers across UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG.
• Define data models and schemas to support normalized market and reference data.
• Optimize memory management and concurrency patterns for ultra-low latency workloads.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members on distributed systems best practices.
