Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Rust/Go Software Engineer to unify UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG into a single platform, building a distributed cache/memory model for ultra-low-latency market data distribution.

You will design and implement a high-throughput caching layer, collaborate on architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires 3+ years in Rust or Go, experience with distributed systems, and knowledge of time-series databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Rust or Go, with distributed systems work.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of time-series databases or data stores (QuestDB, KDB, InfluxDB).
• Understanding capital markets and market data (equities, derivatives, futures, options).
• System design for scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and profiling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a distributed caching layer for high-throughput data distribution.
• Leverage QuestDB to support fast data access across the platform.
• Collaborate with technical leads on architecture and integration decisions.
• Support consolidation of feed handlers and connectivity layers across UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG.
• Define data models and schemas to support normalized market and reference data.
• Optimize memory management and concurrency patterns for ultra-low latency workloads.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members on distributed systems best practices.
