your Jared in Gdańsk, Poland, seeks a Lead Rust Software Engineer to build an ultra-low latency distributed caching layer for market data. The role blends design, implementation and mentorship within a hybrid setup, with remote work options within Poland.

You will optimize memory, concurrency and data models, collaborating with leads to consolidate feed handlers and ensure scalable, fault-tolerant systems for capital markets data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Rust with distributed systems experience.
• Proven ability to design low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of time-series databases such as QuestDB, KDB or InfluxDB.
• Understanding of capital markets data (equities, derivatives, futures & options).
• Strong system design skills and Linux performance tuning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a distributed caching layer for high-throughput market data.
• Collaborate with technical leads on architecture and integration decisions.
• Define data models and schemas to support normalized market and reference data.
• Optimize memory management and concurrency for ultra-low latency workloads.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members.
