Job summary

The Peak Books is seeking a highly skilled Remote Accountant to join our accounting team. You will provide accurate financial statements, tax returns, and reports for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and similar platforms.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, have proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero, and are comfortable working remotely with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and similar accounting software platforms.
• Previous Big 4 experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software platforms.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist clients with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to address accounting-related inquiries and issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
